About the role:

Do you have a strong chemical or biology background and want to use your skills set to study the creation of cancer in cooperation with the world’s lead researcher at the Cancer Research Institute as a researcher? The Di Antonio Research Group is looking for a talented candidate with expertise in chemical or biological biology ready to create new tools to meet high -control cancer cells. This position will be able, funded by Cruk, a successful candidate from working in a leading institution in the world, along with world leaders in cancer biology.

What will you do?:

It will work on a cooperative project between the Di Antonio (Impierial) group and the Magnani (ICR) group. Your main role will be to verify the health and development of chemical biology tools created in the Di Antonio group in the ICR breast cancer cell models. The comprehensive idea behind the project is to enable the monitoring manipulation of Epigenome breast cancer for the basis for mechanisms responsible for the stillness of breast cancer and waking up. Your research work will be very diversified, as it extends from the basic biochemistry to cell biology and genome. You will create models and tools to cancel Epigenome’s health and verify their effectiveness using vital genomics and informatics. In addition, it will work alongside a biologist for cancer that will be set in the same project and its headquarters is mainly in ICR with Professor Magnani. It is also expected to contribute more broadly to the Di Antonio Research Wallet.

What are we looking for:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive researcher ready to work in a very multidisciplinary project. The ideal filter has a PhD in biology or chemical biology and related experience in biochemistry, cell biology or genome. We are particularly looking forward to enthusiastic candidates who want to establish independence and can lead and lead cooperative projects. The ideal candidate will have a great practical experience in chemical biology, cell biology, or genome. We are also looking for candidates who have motives to hold financial independence and we expect you to submit the financing actively (in the form of fellowships) during the position.
