The Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the Iowa State University invites requests to the faculty center at the rank of lecturer. Initial duties consist of teaching courses at the level of mathematics in the developmental and complex college, including, but not limited to: algebra, pre -trigonology, commercial mathematics, and calculus calculation.
A successful candidate will be responsible for high -quality university education in these courses. The initial appointment is one semester that starts 1/1/2026, teaching 3 courses (75 % full -time equation). Renewal parameters are determined according to performance and need. The extent teaching staff is not qualified to get a period, but they have the ability to review the progress of the faculty members in the large term.
The successful candidate will have an excellent record in the teaching sessions at the development level and/or the primitive level from the calculus account. They will also have a record of efficiency in learning management systems such as Aleks, Mylabs and Canvas.
Candidates must be lawless to work in the United States on a continuous basis without care.

Department/Program and College Description:
The Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences that offers BS, BA, MS and Ph.D. Degrees in mathematics and applied mathematics. The department is also active in programs between departments in data science at the level of university level in addition to biomalic information, computer biology, human and computer interactions, and to ensure information at the level of graduate studies. The task of teaching in the department includes large numbers of students who are studying programs within the engineering and business colleges. A model educational load for full -time faculty members is 4 courses in the semester. The Mathematics Department has 45 faculty professionals, 70 doctorates, MS students, and about 170 BS students. We have strong research and educational programs in separate mathematics, algebra, logic, analysis and possibility, numerical analysis, engineering analysis and PDE. The department participates in many multidisciplinary research cooperation, including partnerships with faculty members in biological sciences, computer science and many engineering programs.
