Responsibilities and requirements: Stone Brock University libraries seek a library secretary directed towards users to join their team. The head of circulatory services and library loan will explore the new forms from sharing access, participation collection, integrating emerging technologies, analyzing workflow tasks, and providing services that respond to the needs of information at the university in a fast -paced and quickly changing environment. This position participates in setting policies in consultation with other department heads, participating managers, dean and director of libraries. The head of circulatory services and realistic overlap loan will be responsible for the following:

• Direct supervision of employment services and loan administrations overlapping the Health Sciences Library and Western campus libraries.
• Supervising student assistants in all specific areas, as required.
• Supervising the management of the main chimneys, including the generalization of materials and series, as necessary.
• Simplify the electronic delivery of the library resources.
• Determine the policy standards for loan periods, fines and bills for the late, missing and missing materials.
• Determine the appropriate technological developments to implement trading and improved materials.
• Provide reports of borrowing and lending trends.
• Providing and ensuring superior customer service.
• Create financial reports on expenditures and revenues related to the overlapping library loan, delivery of documents, and trading services.
• Collecting and maintaining statistical reports to obtain an overlapping loan, delivery of documents, policies and trading procedures.
• It is the representative of the Secretary of the Library of the Copyright Center for Copyright.
• Communication and consultation with the legal consultant for the university campus regarding fair use and compliance with copyrights in the requests of the library materials and their use.
• Providing a specialized support to deliver information as needed and through appointment.
• Participate in literacy activities and research in library information.
• Design and cooperation with other library secretaries to produce search evidence on the Internet and educational lessons.
• Take advantage of social networks and other technologies to create awareness about library and resources services.
• Taking assembly development duties, working as a specialist in a topic library, and is an administrative communication for academic departments.
• Cooperative work with faculty members to help them teach conducting documents, including design of effective training tools and user education.
• Participate in library level activities and service in library and university committees.
• Participation and contributing to professional organizations and scientific activities.
• Inclusion of development and library activities.
• Performing additional duties, as set.

Special notes: This is the position of the Palmyra path. The rank of faculty and salary depends on qualifications and experience. Flsa is exempt, is not qualified to obtain the provisions of additional work from FLSA. Internal and external research occurs at one time. Expected start date: as soon as possible. Some evenings and weekends will be required.
