The purpose of the situation
The Missouri Labor Center is looking for Organization coordinator To support our efforts in the fully services restaurant industry, Amazon facilities, and workers’ campaigns. When reports to the organized director, this role will enhance the implementation of the campaign, support the organizers of the main workers and organizers, and help build the strength of workers at the state level.

Basic responsibilities

  • The guide and support of the main workers and organizers in the field campaigns.
  • Over one regular procedure, provide performance notes, help develop skills and driving ability.
  • Help with employment, interviews, and employment regulations.
  • Support on board and directing the members of the new organizer team.
  • Help in developing and implementing campaign strategies, timelines, and field work plans.
  • Help follow the campaign budgets and allocate resources effectively.
  • Supporting the development and facilitation of training courses and strategic meetings.
  • Leading the organized team meetings and facilitating skills building workshops.
  • Keep tracking accurate data for campaigns activities, organized output, and standards.
  • Regular progressive reports are produced for the organized director.
  • Cooperation with communications and political employees and research to integrate the campaign’s business.
  • Help build relationships with community partners and coalition to develop campaigns.
  • Coordination of the duties of the organizer, exploring and fixing errors.
  • Support the campaign escalation, mobilization, and events.

Education and experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in work, society, or the required political organization.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a major organizer or a supervisory role (for example, guidance organizers, running committees, and coordination campaigns).
  • Show a busy record in the campaign strategy, leadership development, and teamwork.
  • The ability to direct or develop organized employees showed.
  • Experience in planning a campaign strategy, reports or data tracking.
  • The ability to work for long and irregular hours, including evenings, weekend holidays and travel within Missouri.
  • Commitment to build a multi -ethnic work movement.
  • Calculative US driving license, car insurance and access to a car; The required smartphone (provided).
  • Encouraged multi -language applicants.

Compensation and benefits

  • Salary: $ 75,000 a year
