Do you want to be part of a national network that supports health and care research throughout England? Are you able to lead the activities program designed to increase the inclusion and accessibility of the audience in the research participation? Do you have experience to involve people and societies affected by the lack of health equality?

You will be responsible for leading a program for activities designed to increase the inclusion and accessibility of the audience in the research participation. This will include support and management of work programs with the public and our partners through the research system. You will deal with community organizations and community groups that work successfully, with the aim of increasing awareness and participating in health and care research studies. By working closely with colleagues from all over RDN and RRDNS, you will manage and design programs for activity to participate in society, insert research and improve access and participation in research for societies that transfer services. The role will include the design, coordination and facilitation of national and regional workshops, public events, joint production of resources, community participation at the RDN level and training in public participation.

It will work cooperatively with colleagues within RDNCC, as required, via RDN and LEDS University, and with external stakeholders in a set of settings. It will support the operational delivery of the organization’s scale in the work methods and culture required to ensure the work of the network as one institution that has a common purpose and a vision throughout England, as well as support for mutual colleagues during the transformation period and beyond.

This role will be in the RDNCC office on Queen Street, Leeds. We are working in a hybrid manner with the expectation that all RDNCC employees will spend at least 40 % of their time office. We are also open to discuss other flexible work arrangements.

Please note: This role may involve evening work, the weekend at times and travel through England.

Please note: The successful applicant will be asked to give the university to verify the criminal registry status and all applicants must announce whether they have any “absolute” criminal crimes, including that pending.
