Biomedical structural and physical studies of molecular pathology inherently behind starvation through transformation (nations softness)

Transritin (TTR) Achocular disease is a serious disease that has devastating effects on human health. This occurs when the transithyretin protein, which usually acts as a blood hormone for hormone hormone and network fastening protein, is the amyloid fiber that obstructs decisive tissues such as the heart or nerve tissue.

The project will focus on the investigation of the molecular factors behind the instability of TTR (see for example https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-019-08609-z/And in understanding the path that connects functional and sick forms of protein. There is also an interest in studying the effect of candidate medications that may slow down or prevent amyloid formation.

The techniques concerned will include the photography of X-ray and neutron signs, the SAXS & Sans, and Cryo-Im. A successful applicant will have a good access to the advanced international facility centers for Synchrotron X-ray and neutron symptoms like Max IVand willand Esrfand ISISDuring this project, Ess.
