As part of the community’s exploration model, they invite you to explore Noaa Ocean View our proposed operational areas* for 2026 and Submit recommendations For audio maps and exploration on the Noaa ship Okeanos Explorer In the Pacific Islands.

These campaigns will contribute to Beyond The Blue: Elluming The Pacific. This multi -faceted scientific campaign is designed to explore and raise collective knowledge and understand water in the Pacific Islands area, which was identified as a priority for exploration and description. By responding to this invitation to income through applications for appointment and targeting areas to explore the NOAA ocean to consider the design of the upcoming campaigns, you may be able to contribute to the campaign and enhance your scientific interests.

In 2026, the ocean exploration in NOAA suggested operational areas off the Hawaiian Islands, Jarvis Island, American Samoa, and Cook Islands **. These areas refer to large areas of the interest that will be sharpened in plans with detailed rituals, using the data collected from this invitation to inputs, regional gap analyzes, and priorities developed by local communities within the operational areas.

All recommendations will be balanced with ocean exploration in NOAA and other community priorities. Recommendations will be distributed through the campaign schedule and will be improved during group calls for cooperative planning.
