Role
Newcastle University has an opening in the research software engineering team for the world of data.

The team works through the entire university and with a group of external partners. We develop high -quality programs in cooperation with scientists, engineers and scientists from all areas of research. You will be responsible for providing artistic software engineering experience through multiple projects at one time.

You will have a master’s degree in the arithmetic field (equivalent experience or is about to finish), as well as an installed experience to develop software. We are particularly interested in meeting with experienced candidates in:

  • Analysis techniques for different data types such as images or text.
  • Statistical analysis.
  • Using techniques such as linear slope, random forests and classification.
  • Experience with automated learning methods such as tawafric neuromus applications.

Applications are welcomed by both software development scientists and researchers who have technology skills between specializations that focus on either completing or extending our current team.

RSE’s goal is to convert research in Newcastle by applying best practices in software engineering. Her work extends research, teaching and innovation by communicating with external organizations. As one team, we work all over the university and with all academic discipline. Whether this means expanding the scope of human cell analysis pipelines in the cloud, creating new digital editions to breathe a new life in the medieval manuscripts, generate flood risk assessments close to time, or work to develop decision-making tools for organ transplantation-we do so.

We offer specialized programming experience, modern development practices and engineering accuracy of academic programs. We provide expert software engineering consultant services for the world’s leading research teams and cooperation with scientists and scientists to build programs to meet the next generation of research challenges.

All posts are available as open contracts from the date of appointment and the opportunity to work for mixed work.

Salary: 35,608 pounds to 46,049 pounds annually, depending on experience.
