Director of partnerships and international and public governmental relations
The position of the term (18 months)
(The salary range is 116,100 dollars – 133,500 dollars a year)
Under the general trend of the chief administrative officials (CAO), you will be responsible for developing policies, programs and services that reflect and recommend the city’s strategic vision and priorities that reflect the city’s vision and strategic priorities.
This role supports Cao by developing and negotiating partnerships and agreements with significantly with local first countries and other levels of government agencies, federal agencies, stakeholders in the local community and unhappy organizations. In addition, it will provide leadership and advice on developing and implementing various communication and marketing strategies.
This is a high -level role that requires great political acumen, cultural sensitivity and appreciation. By building skilled and negotiating relationships, you have a busy record in developing and implementing long -term companies and communications strategies and cooperating with multidisciplinary teams to create opportunities. You are self -enthusiastic, very organized, and flourish in an environment characterized by teamwork, solving creative problems and multiple priorities.
Ideally, you have a diploma or post -high school diploma in communications, business, public administration, or a related field along with at least five years of the recent expertise responsible for public relations or public administration. The previous supervisory experience, preferably obtained in a union workplace, is required, and the local government experience is one of the specified assets.
The successful applicant must be ready to move to the Powell River; Transport help available.
