We seek to appoint either A Senior Research Fellow Or a Senior Research Fellow To join the UCL Cancer Institute. The successful candidate will contribute to research consistent with NIHR University College London Hospitals Biomedical Research Center (BRC) Priorities, which include:

• Cancer immunotherapy
• Early diagnosis of cancer
• Tumor heterogeneity and targeted therapy
• Improving the therapeutic index in treatments other than chemotherapy

• Senior Research Fellow: You will develop research projects and will be supported to secure fellowship funding and establish a world-leading research group.
• Senior Research Fellow: You will lead an independent research group, provide academic leadership, and mentor laboratory scientists and clinicians active in research.

About you

Senior Research Fellow Candidates must:

• Hold a PhD in a relevant field aligned with BRC priority areas
• Demonstrate excellent research output
• Show evidence of influence and networking in their field
• Be able to secure independent financing

Senior Research Fellow Candidates must meet the above criteria in addition to:

• Demonstrate leadership in a research area aligned with BRC priorities
• You have experience mentoring researchers and junior clinicians.
