The role

Working as part of a company creation team at the University of Newcastle, this is a new position focused on supporting a North East universities collaborative project called SCENE.

This program represents the creation and development of a structured and connected ecosystem around the commercialization of university research, collaborating with entrepreneurs, investors and institutions to create sustainable change in our impact.

This is an exciting new role leading and managing the SCENE Partnership work at the University of Newcastle on behalf of the partnership with the Universities of Durham, Newcastle, Northumbria, Teesside and Sunderland Universities.

You will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation and evaluation of SCENE’s commercialization of research activities as agreed in the partnership including bringing together partnerships with entrepreneurs, investors and institutions to drive sustainable change in our impact.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 5 years.
