About the project: An e-commerce platform

requirements:

• 6+ years of PHP development experience, specializing in Laravel framework with deep knowledge of its tools and best practices.
• Hands-on experience using Laravel tools, including:
  • Laravel Horizon
  • Laravel telescope
  • Laravel Scout
  • laravel/sacred passport
  • Laravel envoy
• Experience with Laravel Octane for high performance applications.
• Strong understanding of OOP principles (SOLID, GRASP, DDD).
• Experience in API development (RESTful, JSON, authentication/authorization mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth2).
• Experience designing and working with microservices architectures.
• Strong understanding of application architecture and system design for scalable and maintainable solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of failover strategies (replication, segmentation, load balancing, etc.).
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile development environments.
• Experience with RabbitMQ or any other message brokers.
• English – above intermediate

Nice to have/plus

• Experience with AWS services (e.g. EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Exposure to containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with front-end and back-end developers on microservices based projects.
• Design, develop and maintain scalable application programming interfaces (APIs) and back-end services with high availability and robust architecture.
• Ensure application resilience through proper failover planning and fault-tolerant design.
• Use advanced Laravel tools to improve performance, debug, manage queue, and automate deployment.
  Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
  Coordinate with participating developers and keep the project manager informed of progress, and act as a liaison between technical and administrative teams.
• Stay up to date on emerging trends and best practices in web development, microservices, Laravel, and cloud technologies.
