PhD Scholarships at the University of Bristol Business School at the University of Bristol
University of Bristol Business School (UBBS) is awarding scholarships worth £20,780 to outstanding applicants. The scholarship includes mandatory Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) responsibilities as a condition of the award, with teaching hours reimbursed separately at an additional hourly rate.
UBBS is committed to innovative PGR training to support and encourage our doctoral researchers to reach the highest levels of social science research. While remaining committed to established areas within the accounting, finance and business disciplines, UBBS invests heavily in interdisciplinary research that taps into emerging areas of artificial intelligence and social technology; Sustainability and new business practices. Candidate requirements:
A first or upper 2:1 honors degree in a relevant subject or equivalent qualification, and either have completed or are completing a Masters qualification from a UK university (or equivalent). See Equivalent international qualifications On the International Office website.
The University of Bristol Business School PhD scholarships are offered for four years, starting in autumn 2026. The scholarship also provides full tuition fees (for home/EU or international students), a stipend at a rate of at least £20,780 per annum, paid in instalments, and additional income from the GTA, which will depend on hours worked.
