The appointee will conduct a search for international excellence in… Latin American politicsContributing to teaching and supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and playing a pioneering role in the development of Latin American Studies and Comparative Politics within Oxford.

About you:

Applicants must hold a Doctorate in Political Science or a closely related discipline (Awarded by October 1, 2025) and proof of:

• Distinguished record of research in Latin America and Comparative Politics.
• An ambitious and clear research agenda with the potential to attract significant funding.
• Proven or potential excellence in teaching and supervision.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment b Equality, diversity and inclusion In research, teaching and administration.

Desirable attributes include field work experience, experience in… Brazilian politicsAnd readiness to teach International Relations of Latin America And participate in awareness and public participation.
