Candidates with a particular research focus and interests in the areas of solidification science and metal casting are of particular interest and are therefore strongly encouraged to apply.

• Demonstrate a record of high-quality, nationally and/or internationally recognized scientific research and publications particularly in the fields of metal casting and solidification science.
• A significant record of scholarships in metallurgical engineering, materials science, or a closely related department of undergraduate and graduate programs.
• Exceptional team, interpersonal and mentoring skills.
