Cowater appoints an Actuellement un(e) Projet Gistionnaire pour une proposal en course de développement dans le cadre du Projet des Outien aux Services sur le Terrain (PSAT) d’Affairs mondiales Canada au Sénégal. Thereafter, provided the project is outsourced to Cowater, it will be partly provisional for the first annual show (estimate 110 days) and sufficient time for the remaining four years, and will be based in Dakar in Senegal.

The Ground Services Support Project aims to provide access to local technical expertise, as well as administrative and logistical services for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada (MAECD) development programs in Senegal. This domestic support ensures that Canada can provide effective, efficient, high-quality and relevant assistance to respond to the challenges, demands and development priorities of these countries.

Responsibilities Cles

  • Planning and coordinating project management activities;
  • Develop, plan, analyse, evaluate and prioritize expendable products, documents and requirements;
  • Define and document development equipment objectives;
  • Make a point verbally and/or write the MAECD about progress and concerns along the project and some pre-defined phases of the life cycle;
  • Coordinate and prepare documentation in response to previous reports, notes and observations and do not provide advance information on the MAECD high trend of project progress status;
  • Plan and coordinate the activities of project staff, predecessors, sub-components and other support providers;
  • Plans, manages, coordinates and controls project equipment activities to achieve project objectives through material content, quality, costs and delays;
  • Prepare a standard work breakdown structure and fee books;
  • We will review our accounts of the achievement of specialized techniques and the results obtained by everyone;
  • Receive requests for technical assistance and intruders by specialized technologies, classify by priority order, assess the degree of emergency and fix delays;
  • Monitoring the concept, initiating processes and managing project work based on the relationship between goals, objectives and principles;
  • Prepare plans, paintings, drawings, and diagrams to assist in analyzing or presenting problems;
  • Formulate and implement project plans, identify consumable products, identify critical components, examine project progress, and conduct ongoing risk management;
  • All the points that were extended several weeks ago about the technical authority and those responsible for development assistance in Senegal to the Central Administration (AC) and other interested parties;
  • Adjust control procedures, monitor the project and make changes to operating plans;
  • Conduct tests/conduct instructions during the project period and engage with project equipment and/or MAECD, as applicable;
  • Exercising leadership during appropriate phases of planning, activities and evaluation;
  • Providing advice on projects of interest to the Department of Economic Cooperation and Development and on related questions, in particular after the Development Section of the Embassy of Canada in Senegal, and after officials of the Department of Economic Cooperation and Development;
  • Develop and maintain a network of key actors (government, civil society, other donors, private sector);
  • Directing the preparation of official documents and reports for the project.

Du Post requirements
Experience required:

  • To less than (9) experience in managing and implementing international development projects;
  • Previous experience working/managing a minimum of (2) international development projects (achieved at least 75%);
  • Preferences will be available to people who can experience this experience within projects that are long-term (projects of 5 years or more) and high-value (projects with a fair total value of at or above $5 million CAD);
  • An experience that can be tried through the following main functions:
    • Formulate and manage project plans to identify live products, define milestones, examine project progress, and conceal ongoing risk management;
    • Plan and coordinate the activities of project staff, predecessors, stakeholders and other support providers;
    • Directs the timely preparation and delivery of documents and books;
    • Plans, directs, coordinates and controls project equipment activities to achieve project objectives in material content, quality, costs and liquidation;
    • Establish and maintain key intervention networks (government, civil society, other donors, private sector);
    • Conduct post-project tests, proofread the instructions, and share the results.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining working relationships with key actors or stakeholders in the field of international development assistance (governments, other donors, NGOs, international organizations), including working, collaborating, and consulting on development outcomes, engaging in and paying attention to these outcomes, as well as creating and facilitating initiatives to that effect.
  • Project experience must be acquired in development countries, with preference in one of the following countries: Senegal, Cape Verde, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Republic of Guinea.

education :
The Higher Diploma (second cycle) provides a knowledge foundation in a relevant discipline such as political science, law, international development, economics, finance, affairs management, project management, social sciences, science or science. Decorates.

Conditions of employment:
