Our scope includes regression testing, integration testing, and system-level verification. As part of a distributed QA team, collaborate closely to effectively cover common scopes.

Job Summary

We are looking for a QA Engineer with experience in testing embedded systems. You will validate the firmware and its features through end-to-end testing, covering interactions between hardware, backend and application.

Responsibilities and duties

– Contribute to implementation testing as part of a global team
– Report, investigate and validate errors to ensure product quality
– Create, maintain and improve test cases
– Participate in bug triage, task allocation, planning sessions, and Go/No-Go meetings
– Report test status and results to stakeholders

Qualifications and skills

– Over 1 year of manual testing experience
– Experience in testing embedded systems
– Knowledge of testing methodologies
– Experience in UNIX/Linux
– Understand the principles of the network
– Understand the principles of embedded systems
– Experience in bug tracking systems
– Experience writing test documents
– Good written and spoken English.

Nice to have

– Experience in debugging hardware and firmware
– Basic knowledge of Python
– Experience with 802.11 protocols
– Experience with low energy systems
– Ability to cause malfunctions via software, firmware, and hardware.
