Working within the Visual Resources Research Unit in the Department of Arts and Antiquities, the Image Collections Specialist supports the curricula and scholarship of the department and the broader Princeton community through image acquisition and cataloging as well as collection development and management of the various media (digital, print, and film) used within the department for teaching and research. Visual Resources contains a collection of physical and digital educational images as well as archaeological archives, historical photographs and collections of educational materials including stone and pottery. Primary responsibilities of this position include obtaining and indexing images for submission to learning management systems for use in courses and faculty publications, and fulfilling requests for support from faculty and students related to finding and using images.
