Director of Finance and Treasury at Arbitrum OpCo

About Arbitrum OpCo

Arbitrum’s Operating Company (OpCo) is dedicated to supporting the growth and success of the Arbitrum ecosystem on behalf of ArbitrumDAO. As an adjacent entity to the DAO, OpCo provides the necessary operational infrastructure to empower stakeholders, coordinate strategic projects between Arbitrum-aligned entities, and ensure the smooth implementation of approved proposals.

Our mission is to serve as a link between the DAO’s vision and real-world implementation, maintaining transparency, agility, and alignment with the Arbitrum communities. We provide logistical support via a decentralized network of builders, stakeholders, and community members.

At OpCo, we value decentralization, high integrity, and collaboration. We are looking for individuals who are committed and passionate about operational excellence for DAOs at Web3 and eager to support the next wave of experimental governance.

Role overview

As Director of Finance and Treasury at Arbitrum OpCo, you will lead the strategic and operational treasury functions supporting the DAO. This role goes beyond day-to-day implementation – you will establish accounting best practices, oversee treasury operations across paper and digital assets, and ensure that OpCo is a trusted steward of the DAO’s financial resources.

You will manage payments, transfers and multi-signature processes while designing frameworks for risk management, liquidity planning and long-term sustainability. In addition, you will represent OpCo at ATMC, contribute treasury expertise to governance discussions and provide financial insight to support decision-making at the DAO level.

  • Manage daily treasury flows, including settlements, payments and multi-currency transactions
  • Maintain oversight of multisig operations using appropriate controls and documentation

  • Provide regular financial reports to leadership, stakeholders and community

Governance and representation

  • Represent OpCo in ATMC and other management forums on treasury related matters
  • Cross-functional collaboration to align financial processes with DAO-level objectives
  • Communicate treasury and financial affairs clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences

  • Experience in overseeing accounting processes for crypto transactions and establishing best practices
  • Strong analytical and strategic mindset, with the ability to balance risk management and operational efficiency
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to succeed in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment
  • Experience in managing external stakeholders (custodians, auditors and service providers)
