Due to the growing number of PhD students, Unicaf is seeking qualified PhD thesis supervisors for full-time and part-time collaboration across a wide range of business disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise research projects of PhD candidates in business and related fields, mainly in asynchronous mode.
• Guiding students in developing research proposals, methodologies, and scientific writing.
• Provide detailed, constructive and timely feedback on submitted work.
• Guides candidates in preparing for advancement reviews and doctoral examinations.
• Acting as an examiner for doctoral theses when needed.
• Supporting students in preparing research outputs for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
• Facilitate professional development for candidates, including conference presentations and networking.
• Maintain accurate supervision records, progress reports and inspection documents.
• Contribute to asynchronous online teaching in doctoral level teaching modules.

About you

• Doctoral degree in Business Administration or closely related fields.
• Proven experience in supervising doctoral and/or master’s theses.
• Strong record of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Experience teaching online is desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and IT skills (e.g. Moodle, MS Office).
• High proficiency in English.
• A collegial, flexible and student-centred approach.
