Job profile
The Private Client Services (PCS) team at Weaver is looking for a Tax Associate or Senior Supervisor to join their growing team. Weaver’s Private Client Services team helps clients manage and preserve their personal wealth. Our scope of services includes, but is not limited to, tax planning and preparation, entity structuring, wealth preservation, family succession consulting, and family office services.
A senior associate or supervisor on the Private Client Services team plans, prepares and presents client work to directors, senior managers and partners independently and with limited supervision. They are team players who show initiative, accept responsibility, communicate effectively, and manage multiple simultaneous tasks of varying size and complexity.
To be successful in this role, you must have the following qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- CPA or CPA candidate
- – 2-4+ years of experience in public accounting
- Experience preparing and/or reviewing federal tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and closely held corporations
- Familiarity with Quickbooks, CCH Access, CCH Engagement, or similar software

- Master’s degree in accounting or related field
- Ability to mentor and assist in the development of less experienced employees
Compensation and benefits: At Weaver, our most valuable resource is our employees. We take the time to evaluate the wants and needs of our employees and invest our resources accordingly. A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $90,000 to $143,000 in the Maryland, New Jersey, and New York Metropolitan areas. Actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to compensation packages, Weaver offers competitive health benefits, such as medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and a 401(k) plan.
