Stagehand- Summit

What will this role do?
• Loads in & out of range equipment and rents equipment
• Responsible for securing required permits and tickets and preparing guest lists under the supervision of the Stage Manager
• Cables. Assist sound and lighting crew as directed
• Band set changes
• Ensure that members of the band(s) have the required items to perform the show(s)
• Responsible for communicating details of the evening event to the production crew
• Responsible for hanging display signs and updating marquees and other signage at the venue
• Responsible for coordinating food trays for the band in the music hall
• Assist the lighting and sound crew as directed by the Stage Manager or PM. Turn on the lights if necessary
• Maintenance and repair of sound, light and stage equipment
• The Stage Manager may help pass the show along
• Maintaining and securing the back line of the house and supplies
• Maintain curtains, drapes, risers and other staging items
• Assist sound crew with stands, microphones, cables, etc.
• Assist lighting crew with fixtures, lambs, gels, cables, etc.
• Operate and care for theater areas in a safe and clean manner
• Assist with any operations for special events
• Ensure that the stage waste is removed. The stage is swept or prepared for the next show when possible

What will this person bring?

required:
• Minimum 3 years experience in touring and stage production
• Experience with stage lighting, professional sound systems and basic video systems
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency with all Microsoft applications
• Must possess superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• Secondary diploma

• University degree

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
• Work in an environment with a moderate to high noise level

The expected compensation for this position is:
$18.29 – $20.00 per hour
