About the role

The Clinical Photography Science Center is an attachment for clinical research and photography at the University of Sussex. It currently has 2 scanners for magnetic resonance imaging, Siemens PRISMA 3T (Search /Clinical) and MGNTQ (MultiWave) 0.05T (Search).

This post is an ideal opportunity for the radiographic photographer who wants to have an MR experience in a research environment that often supports some clinical services, including memory evaluation and sports injuries.

You will be part of a small team of radiology designers who work alongside researchers at Sussex University specializing in cognitive and clinical neuroscience, as well as healthcare professionals from public and private sectors.

This role will include some weekend work according to work needs.

While this is a full -time post, we also welcome part -time work applications.

The HCPC registration is necessary, and the employment is subject to a satisfactory DBS examination.

About you

You will have a Bachelor’s degree in radiography or DCR or other equivalent radiography qualified recognized by the College of Radiological Photographers and should be currently registered with the Health and Care Instance Council.

For the sixth degree, the previous experience in MRI will be desirable, but we will also look at the start of the appropriate candidates in this way.

For the seventh grade, you will have an experience installed in teaching, training and supervision of ray depiction

You will communicate clearly with service users, radiography, font management and stakeholders. You will be able to work independently to manage your work burden as well as within the team and participate in solving problems. You will also adhere to personal development.
