Senior Technical Product Manager – Archive Services

Your turn
The world relay is looking for experience A Senior Technical Product Manager (TPM) to join our product management team. In this role, you will own specific components and features of the archive portfolio that drive scalability, availability, and resiliency across message ingestion and enrichment pipelines.
You will collaborate closely with Agile teams, fellow Product Managers, UX teams, and customer-facing teams to deliver the product roadmap – delivering new initiatives and impactful features through the full development cycle. Your work will directly impact enterprise clients across industries such as finance, insurance, healthcare, and energy.
Senior TPMs play a key role in delivering the product roadmap, partnering with product managers to ensure priorities are clear, achievable, and strategically aligned. They reliably lead large, complex initiatives that often span multiple teams. Responsibilities include driving early requirements discovery and analysis, and translating them into releases, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Senior TPMs also work alongside team leads, architects, and UX/UI to ensure high-quality design outcomes.
The TPMS participates daily in (and often leads) agile ceremonies – refining backlogs, planning a sprint, accepting completed stories, tracking progress, and managing key release activities such as documentation and training.
Your responsibilities
Working in a dynamic team environment, the Senior TPM is responsible for:
- Responsible for delivery of components/features in coordination with the broader strategy and roadmap for reporting.
- Lead large complex initiatives from roadmap to delivery with minimal support and direction from Product Managers.
- Strong condition elicitation, analysis, domain modeling, use case modeling, workflow design, and documentation skills.
- Recognized as an expert in your production line.
- Translate product roadmap initiatives and feature requests into models, workflow diagrams, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other appropriate artifacts.
- Understand the design, business logic, and technical architecture of their platforms’ components, and how these components interact with the rest of the platform.
- Define and coordinate dependencies across components during the development process.
- Proven ability and success in presenting to team, business level, and C-level stakeholders
- Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Support, Customers, and other TPMs to produce and manage their component backlog and contribute to the product roadmap.
- Recognized as an expert in your production line.
- Collaborate with other TPMs, architects, UI/UX, and lead team to drive requirements through the design phase.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and other team meetings with your team (your team() agile)
- Support product management, marketing, sales, provisioning, professional services, technical documentation, training, and technical support throughout the release process with training, documentation, announcements, and other release activities.
About you:
- 6+ years of experience as a Software Technician/Product Manager or Product Owner.
- Experience with backend and API expertise
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical, business and C-level executives.
- Strong requirements development and management skills (elicitation, analysis, use case modeling, workflow, documentation, etc.)
- Experience leading cross-team presentation initiatives and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization
- Experience with agile and scrum development methodologies.
- Experience planning, monitoring and reporting project status for multiple initiatives/teams
- Experience with enterprise software and Software as a Service (SAAS).
- Degree in engineering, computer science or related technical field.
It’s good to have:
- Experience as a software developer/engineer
- Experience implementing and supervising APIs
- Experience with architecture and distributed systems
- Experience with performance at scale and scalability
compensation:
Global Relay advertises the pay range for this role in accordance with BC pay transparency laws. Individual pay rates are determined by evaluating factors such as experience, skills, education and professional background.
The range below reflects expected annual base salary, which is just one element of a comprehensive overall compensation package designed to reflect our company’s pay philosophy, culture and values. We aim to foster an inspiring work environment and support work-life rhythms. We offer a comprehensive health benefits program, including virtual healthcare and wellness allowance. Employees also receive allocated annual leave days, which increase based on tenure. British Columbia – Base Salary Range
$130,000 – $150,000 CAD
