We are looking for a Senior Research Fellow/RF (SRF/RF) to conduct research in robotics and machine learning by exploring cutting-edge approaches such as learning-based robot perception, adaptive reinforcement learning control, multi-modal sensor fusion, and safe human collaboration. The focus will be on ways that robots can learn complex skills from data and adapt robustly to dynamic, uncertain environments. The role involves interpreting the horizon of emerging research trends, synthesizing technical ideas, and formulating sections aligned with national priorities.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct advanced research in robotics and machine learning, with an emphasis on data-driven robot perception, adaptive control, sensor fusion, and safe human interaction.

  • Publish results in top-tier journals/conferences.

  • Assist in the preparation of competitive CRP research project proposals, including literature review, formation of technical objectives, and drafting of relevant sections.

  • Collaborate with faculty, research staff, and students on joint robotics and artificial intelligence projects and support the supervision of graduate students.

  • Engage with industry or academic partners where appropriate to explore collaborative opportunities and contribute to project delivery.

Job Requirements:

  • PhD in electrical and electronic engineering, computer science, or related field, with a strong background in robotics and machine learning.

  • At least 4 years of research experience in related fields.

  • Publications in top journals and/or conference presentations as first author highly preferred.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
