Father People’s Business Partner | Visier function on T-Net
Visier gives organizations the working edge of intelligence: A set of self-powered capabilities that help leaders understand the relationship between people and business, raise the productivity of their employees, and win by adapting to change faster. We are a global leader in AI people analytics, workforce planning, and compensation management solutions. All Visier technology is powered by the real-time People Data Platform, which uses AI to unlock the business transformation potential of people data and business data and integrate both.
Founded in 2010 by business intelligence leaders, Visier has more than 60,000 customers in 75 countries – including organizations like BASF, Panasonic, Experian, Amgen, eBay, Ford Motor Company, and more.
Are you excited about seeing your impact as a strategic advisor to leaders? Do you apply a strong understanding of the business you are doing to provide advice and solutions that work backwards from “what is the problem” – even if those solutions are not always traditional HR answers? Are you excited by the idea of working for a company with a 15-year track record of helping leaders make better decisions using people data?
If so, you’ll be happy to hear that our Visier P&C team is growing, and we’re looking for a people business partner to work with our Customer Success, Embedded Analytics, APAC, and back office teams. Your client portfolio spans multiple countries with a wide range of roles and you will work alongside some amazing leaders who are on a mission to deliver results for our clients and create team cultures that foster empowerment and high performance.
This is an opportunity to be strategic, work independently and drive meaningful business impact that you can be proud of. You don’t necessarily need to come from an HR background – as long as you understand the business and enjoy building relationships and providing solutions to nuanced problems.
What will you do?
- Work as a consultant: Partner with your client group to deeply understand key business priorities and provide talent initiatives and advice designed to help achieve those priorities.
- Coaching managers for success: Provide partnership to our people managers, helping them develop their skills to be more effective, while deploying our own solutions to accelerate their manager journey.
- Facilitating talent development: Work with leaders to assess organizational needs and support the development of talent density within your client group.
- Employee relations solution: Manage employee relations cases from start to finish, applying your knowledge of best practices and employment law along with your understanding of business priorities.
- Data-Driven Champion Decisions: Use our industry-leading people analytics platform to deliver insights to defense and help leaders make better decisions.
- Leading projects and initiatives: Take initiative to lead talent-related scale projects and programs within the People and Culture team (this year we’re focusing on manager effectiveness and radical candor).
What will you bring to the table?
- 6+ years of progressive experience as a business consultant – this may be in HR, consulting, change management, transformation or sales.
- Related post-secondary qualification in human resources management, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven track record of effective partnering and/or consulting that has led to business results.
- Excellent business acumen and broad vision for critical thinking and problem solving that look beyond traditional HR solutions.
- Functional knowledge of Canadian and US employment law or a strong commitment to learning.
- Strong communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation.
- A career-level professional who works independently and can provide mentorship to junior team members.
