The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree or a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, business administration or relevant field with at least seven years of recent experience in the field of cybersecurity with five years experience at the management level, preferably in the municipal government, in addition to technical or famous certificates required or a mixture of education, training and experience. The role requires experts to know the frameworks, principles, practices, techniques, legislation, methods and procedures applied to work in addition to a great knowledge of the city’s rules, regulations, policies, procedures, practices and operations related to the work accomplished, jobs, projects and operations in all the city’s departments and requirements. A successful candidate will have the ability to lead a team of direct and functional reports, employment and management management, training, coach, investigation and discipline management. You will have the ability to support a wide range of technology projects with a proper and appreciated judgment in light of the narrow timing dates and constant change. You will have the ability to develop, connect, implement and evaluate information security initiatives while dealing with sensitive, background, complex and secret issues that include many stakeholders with skill, ingenuity and diplomacy.
