Job Title: Trainee – Video Content

Job Summary: The Video Content Intern will assist in all aspects of creating video content for the Kansas City Royals. This includes filming events, editing videos and participating in the creative process. Candidates need experience with Sony Cinema cameras and advanced editing knowledge with Adobe Premiere.

Position of Responsibilities/Responsibilities:
• Produce, shoot and edit video content for the Kansas City Royals. Platforms include social media, stadium and television
• Capture events, interviews and game footage for editing
• Work as a production assistant or grip on large production shoots
• Actively participate in the creative development process
• Assist in daily production operations
• Assist with footage requests and administrative duties
• Other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:
• You must include your professional production reel with your resume for consideration
• At least one year of professional/freelance videotaping experience
• Experience operating Sony Cinema Style cameras such as: FX9, FX6, FX3, A7S, FS5
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere
• Familiarity with Mac OS
• Candidates must be creative, enthusiastic and willing to learn and be creative
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
• One year commitment

Physical requirements:
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to work in a seated position for the majority of the work day
• Must be able to be productive using a computer keyboard and phone
• Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times
• Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
• It should be comfortable for walking to move around the facility to reach office, commissary, etc.
• Must be able to work long hours and/or weekends as required by deadlines and scheduling events
