This is an exciting opportunity for the ophthalmologist who focuses on research to join the vision department as a first lecturer / lecturer. We are seeking to develop and expand the visual measurement team as part of our plans to develop visual action in Huddersfield.
The department is part of the College of Applied Sciences, which includes the fields of pharmacy, life sciences and physical sciences. The optics department has educational and lurids, specially designed and fully equipped, and it is part of the development of approximately 18.2 million pounds in the College of Applied Sciences in 2019. The department also hosts, which is unique to teach vision measurement in the United Kingdom, the joint clinical project, university Valli Opticians, where students develop the main clinical skills within the field of operational optical business. To complete our current team, you will be an active and keen researcher to provide high -quality education and you can contribute to our strategic ambitions. You must have a knowledge of contemporary vision measuring practices, awareness of developments and changes in health care education.
Ideally, you will get a doctoral qualification in a related field and a busy record of research and registration outputs as contemporary teaching physician and experience.
Your background and experience in the field of optics will enable you to provide a high -quality educational experience for our optical students. You will also work alongside your colleagues in teaching and common learning units, so it is necessary to have good cooperation and communication skills. Higher Education Academy Fellowship is also required to obtain it within 12 months of appointment.
