Senior electronic microscopic scholars in individual particles analysis, Faculty of Biological Sciences at the University of Leeds
This role will be based on the university campus. We are open to discuss flexible work arrangements.
Do you want to play a leading role in the Astbury Biostructure Laboratory in Leeds? Do you have extensive experience in biochemistry, structural biology, and electronic microscope for cooling to analyze single particles? Do you have a passion for sophisticated biological and medical discovery, and to provide advanced outputs where data generation and analysis play a major role?
By working in the Astbury Biostructure Laboratory with modern experimental equipment and expertise in the field of electronic microscope, they will provide and develop single particles analysis services and workflow. You will play a major role in developing the base of internal and external users, taking a proactive position to attract attention to excellence in individual particle analysis services that can be found in the Astbury Biostructure laboratory.
As an expert in this field, you will help users using methods of leading experience and innovative samples, data collection and data processing to process a wide range of difficult samples. Leeds research leaders will support by helping research financing, contribute to high -quality publications, and enter the use of individual particles analysis for new search fields.
For industrial clients, it will ensure the provision of standard services for industry, maintaining clear communication and dates of adherence to dates throughout the completion of work orders. It will work as an external facility facility to enhance the growth of the industrial user, create communication opportunities and show the capabilities of the facility in providing the services designed experts.
You must have a doctorate in structural molecular biology and a passion for studying biological and medical processes, with extensive experience in preparing, photographing and analyzing difficult samples of the hepatic electron microscope to analyze single particles. Since you will work closely and cooperate with a wide range of researchers and perform new research projects, you will also have excellent communication skills.
