We have a great opportunity in a person’s electrical and electronic engineering school for a passion for research that is looking to use his skills in the modeling techniques that depend on data to enhance our understanding of circulatory processes in the United Kingdom and northwestern Europe, especially how this can be affected by climate change.
You will join a multidisciplinary project team consisting of scholars from Sheffield, Lincoln, Reading, Newcastle, and many other partner institutions such as the UK’s interview office, who will work together to conduct highly motivated research towards solving real life problems. Your business in this project will help enhance our strong international rear file.
You will build transparent and interpretable models from weather notes, climate, and variables/signals related to circulatory operations in the United Kingdom and northwestern Europe. This opportunity will help you develop your skills in data -based -based modeling models and non -linear system models (especially Narmax), to create transparent and interpretative models, PARSIMONIOUS and TIPS that can help identify drivers and complex system reasons with many inputs.
We are looking for candidates with interpretable machine learning skills (IML), as well as experience in determining a border model for non -linear systems with many inputs. Since this role includes teamwork with other institutions towards solving a problem in the important real world, you will develop creative solutions, plan your work burden, and set a priority of conflicting priorities.
It will hold a doctorate (or have an equivalent experience, or near the completion) in the field of a related subject. We are looking for experienced applicants and skills in data -based modeling, defining non -linear system and interpretable machine learning.
The Electronic and Electronic Engineering School (EEE) belongs to the prestigious College of Engineering.
