Leading University Engagement at the University of Oxford

Do you have experience researching, developing, coordinating or delivering student engagement initiatives at a collegiate university?
About the role
We are looking for a passionate and talented individual who can lead engagement with the University’s upcoming Ashmolean Museum.
In this role, you will develop, develop, assess and evaluate an ambitious, exciting and audience-focused program for students initially, and in later years staff, in line with the Ashmolean Audience Development Plan and strategic priorities. You will create new training opportunities for students and grow new advocacy and ambassadorial opportunities for students and staff. You will develop a strategy for marketing and disseminating university engagement opportunities for students and staff at Ashmolean and produce digital deliverables, working with systems on multiple platforms, including social media, website and digital marketing.
This is a part-time, permanent role (50% of full-time equivalent). This role requires on-site work and a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check result due to the nature of the responsibilities. The Postholder will need to work some evenings, weekends and holidays, following the rhythm of our collective university.
About you
You will have outstanding interpersonal, verbal, presentation and written communication skills. You will be positive, open-minded and driven, able to work independently and as part of different teams. You will have the ability to efficiently manage workload and time, prioritize tasks, multi-task and stay calm under pressure. You will be a strategic thinker able to engage with Oxford University student and university audiences to create targeted, engaging and impactful programming.
