About the role

Because of the continuous growth in the school, we look forward to employing an associate professor in accounting. In this role that focuses on teaching, it will provide inspiration and leadership to present and develop the first university stage in the school and teach it in accounting, and work in line with the school’s strategy. The successful applicant will provide academic and professional leadership within the school and through their specialization, which ensures excellence in teaching and the design of the curriculum at the international level.

You will develop and provide high -quality lectures and seminars on a set of accounting fields in addition to conducting a scholarship or educational research to support innovation in accounting teaching and enhance student experience. More importantly, you will play an active role in ensuring that our students get an accounting education that allows them to benefit from their potential.

About you

The ideal candidate will have a great experience in the field of accounting and hold membership with a recognized professional body such as ICAEW, ICAS, ACCA or CIMA. You will have a busy record in providing high -quality teaching to trainees or university students, with evidence of students’ excellent results. The experience in the design of the stereotype and the design of the curriculum, which includes innovative and enlightened teaching practices, is necessary.

You must show the commitment to continuous professional development in teaching and show evidence to support the development of students and colleagues. It is expected to participate in external evaluation and review operations, as well as participation in important internal and external committees and groups. It is advisable to be an older fellowship for the Higher Education Academy (HEA) or an accredited educational qualification equivalent to a desirable matter, or commitment to obtaining such rehabilitation when appointing.

The main skills include the ability to lead and manage teams effectively, personal relationship skills and excellent offer, and the ability to develop resources that enhance teaching quality. You should be adept at presenting semesters through different methods, including lectures, seminars and lessons, and have strong training and guidance capabilities. The commitment to providing a high -quality service to students and the ability to plan and organize work programs is necessary.
