We are looking for Aviation assembly technicianIn our office in Richmond, British Columbia, who wants to be part of the next generation of land control tasks. By working with other technicians with experience and engineering employees, the spacecraft assembly technician will support the program of new generational aircraft systems (RPAS) for the last acquisition of a fleet of experimental aircraft from a distance remote.

• Merging, assigning and maintaining RPAS control stations at the customer’s location as needed.
• Supporting actively for the engineering team in exploring and repairing errors and failed investigations, as well as implementing the improvements and corrective procedures.
• Support the operation of the General Assembly by conducting inspections of materials and products, performing performance and acceptance tests, moving materials, parts, tools, and products as needed.
• Support calibration and maintenance tools, measurement and measurement devices according to current operations and instructions.
• Depending on the transformation of work burdens and project priorities, you may be required to support administrative work or create documents, instructions or reports.
• Other duties and other responsibilities in nature and complexity as necessary to support the constantly changing business priority project.
• Be an active participant in the MDA UAV service management system:
• Maintenance and work activities are implemented efficiently within the health, safety and organizational technology regulations.
• Be an active participant in MDA UAV/RPAS.
• Performing RPAS and version activities.
• Control of the RPAS ground control station and hardware compositions program.
• Using RPAS maintenance evidence according to the official training program.
• Take responsibilities to maintain assembly and maintenance infrastructure:
• Tool management, test equipment, ground support equipment and calibration requirements in the factory and/or site.
• Management of maintenance publications and forms.
• Help in maintaining the generators of the site and power distribution systems.
• Implementation of inventory management activities and logistical services:
• Management of RPAS spare parts in the factory and/or site
• Implementation of inventory management system transactions online:
• Receipts
• consumption
• Spare parts orders
• Field repair requests
• Maintenance function card inputs
• Inspection to receive the parts.
• Raise repair and shipping documents for spare parts that leave the factory or site.
• Conducting a routine stock of stock.

Job requirements:

• Successful completion of the aircraft maintenance engineer course in an accredited training organization from Canada or any civil or military equivalent.
• Aircraft maintenance experience is very desirable, drone aircraft experience.
• Previous military/civil operational experience and publishing experience is one of the assets.
• Prepare for training, if not already dependent on the new RPAs (attending an OEM-approved technical course with the exam).

• Get full understanding and experience in the specialties of technical safety management system and safety safety.
