Family and medical leave in Maryland (FAMLI) is confirmed that all workers in the state of Maryland have paid leave for medical and family reasons. Famli is a social insurance system that covers 2.6 million workers and 180,000 employers, and is provided as an original and directed digital service to the public. We are in the early stages of building a big and long -term thing such as unemployment insurance or new health management.

Our digital services team provides a modern and multidisciplinary approach to constantly creating digital services to create and improve digital services that support paid vacation in Maryland. The team is responsible for providing human experiences for workers who need to take a paid leave, employers who need to provide paid leave, and Famli employees who handle claims and provide direct support to the public. This is a new program and a rare opportunity to build a digital service from A to Z for the people of Maryland.

Our employee engineers are at the forefront of updating how the state deals with the provision of digital services, which helps in defining standards and practices for future projects. This is a civil technical opportunity that defines the profession to convert digital services for Maryland. This role is long, but only candidates in the Eastern Time Zone will be considered and preference is given to candidates in Maryland and the central ocean area.

The main purpose of the job

Salsforce engineer submits his reports to the Director of Engineering in the Famli Family and Medical Insurance Department (FAMLI) at the Ministry of Labor, Maryland. Salsforce engineer runs the development and composition of the Salesforce and its composition of the FAMLI department. Salsforce crew engineer works closely with our multi -functional sellers teams and work track leaders to ensure that our Slesforce composition meets the needs of the program and is effectively integrated into the largest ecosystem for digital FAMLI digital services.

Duties of position

The duties of this position include, but not limited to:

  • It provides technical experience to implement reliable, developed and secure solutions.
  • It works closely and cooperatively with the leaders of the work path, customer services team and sellers teams to design and implement Salesforce solutions to meet the needs of the program.
  • Maintains technical guidance and standards for the formation of Salesforce, dedicated development and complementarity between Salesforce and other Famli applications.
  • It works closely and cooperatively with employee engineers to identify and develop solutions that work within the current environmental system of FAMLI technology and services.
  • Provides technical experience and implementing Slesforce solutions that prefer ready -made Salesforce functions over allocated development.
  • Review and approve the formation, integrity and development work of employees and contractors.
  • Contributes to documentation, publishing, tests, performance and safety.
  • The technical discovery of the understanding of the risks and engineering opportunities is conducted to inform the technical guidance of Famli services.

The minimum qualifications

expertise:

  • 6 years of experience in developing software
  • 4 years of experience in developing Salesforce (Apex and Lightning Web Components and Data Integration)
  • One year of experience working with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions

Required or favorite qualifications

  • Data integration building experience between Salesforce and other applications
  • Experience in the management of interest in the solutions of public sector
  • Difference leadership experience and/or projects
  • Experience in work closely with product management or product owners to make difficult decisions on setting priorities
  • Experience in providing a deliberate, clear and constructive review of software instructions

Special requirements
