In order to be considered qualified, the candidates must meet all the criteria mentioned below, by the deadline for applying for the applications:

• At least a level of education corresponds to the completed university studies that lasted three years of diploma;
• Be a citizen of a state member of the European Union or EA (Norway, Liechtenstein, Iceland);
• Enjoy full rights as a citizen;
• The fulfillment of any obligations imposed by the laws in force related to the military service;
• You have a comprehensive knowledge of English (C1) because this is the ESMA work language – and a satisfactory knowledge (B2) of the other language of the European Union; and
• Be physically fit to perform the duties associated with the position.

Basic requirements

A) The university diploma (required under Part 3.1) must be obtained in the law.

B) at least one year (1) of professional experience in a legal position, which was implemented in a law firm or management (European or National Union) or in the company’s legal team.

C) Knowledge, as evidenced by education and/or professional experience of the Financial Services Law; and

D) The English and excellent English language.
