In our project, “Knowledge Networks in Romanticism in the Middle Ages that speak Europe – Alma”, we offer post PhD in the field of historical linguistics of French (ancient French, French, central).

The tasks include in the first place the creation of digital text versions in the old and medium French language (on medicine and law) and the work of the dictionary / dictionary: text versions are collected in a text company and analyzed initially using quantitative linguistic methods; On this basis, semantic lexical studies are edited on text terms using the qualitative methods of dictionary and lexicon science, which study the development of colloquial languages ​​in knowledge and scholarship languages.

Requirements include:
Ph.D. in romantic linguistics (old/middle),
Deep knowledge of the historical dictionary or dictionary,
– Very good knowledge in modern French and English, spoke and writing.
The project also focuses on digital humanities, artificial intelligence and semantic web technologies. Therefore, the knowledge or convergence of digital methods is very welcome.

The situation (Salary TV-L 13 is located in Baden-Württemberg) to 12/2028.
