a description:

In your capacity as the Vice President of Commercial and Legal Affairs of Sme US Latin, you will be responsible for negotiating fake, formulation and implementation of complex deals related to the signing of artists, licensing agreements, distribution deals and other major business arrangements. You will play a major role in implementing legal and commercial strategies. It will provide guidelines for leading senior legal issues, ensuring compliance with the company’s policies and protecting Sony music interests and artists.

What will you do:

• Negotiations deal and structure:
Negotiating deals with artists, marks, brands and other industry partners. Work with the financing team to regulate the agreements to increase the value of the company while mitigating the risk.

• Contract and review formulation:
Foods and review of legal contracts and agreements. Ensure that the contractual conditions are in line with Sony music standards and protect the interests of the poster.

• Legal and strategic advisor:
Providing legal advice and strategic guidelines to name CEOs about a wide range of commercial issues, including artists contracts, intellectual property rights, licensing agreements and corporate transactions.

• Compliance and risk management:
Continue to follow up on changes in the relevant laws and regulations that affect the music industry. Implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and mitigate legal risks.

• Leadership and development of the team:
Helping to manage a team of legal and administrative professionals, provide guidance, support, enhance their professional growth, and increase their performance.

Who are you:

• A doctorate degree in law from the accredited and active law school in a good position with the relevant state tape.
• At least 10 years experience in the entertainment law, with a great focus on the music industry and experience on a major registration mark.
• A busy record of successfully negotiating and drafting with artists and other industry partners.
• A strong understanding of the intellectual property law, contracts and industry regulations that affect the music industry.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to cooperate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• The strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate legal issues and develop proactive solutions to address.
• A high level of professionalism, integrity and discretionary power in dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
• The ability to maintain calm behavior while dealing with multiple responsibilities in a fast -paced environment.
