KCRA 3, Sacramento News Commander and Hurst TV, has an opening for a local photographer and editor. We are looking for a photographer rich in creativity that can capture the essence of what is happening in our society and clearly bring it to the homes of our viewers. You will spend several hours every day in the field in shooting and editing and carrying out attractive live shots. You will also edit news bulletins. It will work well with others, and always represent us positively with the highest press and professional standards offered. You will work with the director of news operations and their progress. This is the position of the union.

Responsibilities
• Photography and editing vos, vosots and Theass and Packages for all linear, digital and social platforms

• Work with the mission office and journalists to cover daily stories

• Photography on customized camera equipment

• Edit in the first offer in Adobe and use the Eng and SNG and wireless data to feed the complete work to the station

• Cooperation with producers, correspondents and managers to produce high -quality stories

• Coordination of video elements received from crews in this field

• Work with catalog systems to save/store, record and determine the necessary video location

• Production and spreading content to our online platforms

• Organizing and attention to equipment maintenance

• Any other editing responsibilities appointed by news managers

requirements
• Two years from the experience of journalism with professional video

• Carry up to 50 pounds of equipment

• It can work in all weather conditions

• Get a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

• Digital editing tools must be used

• You should be ready to work various transformations, including weekends and holidays

• Show journalistic integrity and fixed ethical standards

• You can deal with the pressure of the production of time -sensitive news

• Experienced dual language experience

• Related military experience will be considered

salary

The basic salary range for this role ranges between $ 48,000 and $ 60,000. The actual basic salary offered depends on many factors, such as convertible skills, work experience, work needs, market requirements and conditions, including geographical location where work will be implemented, and other factors permitted by law. The basic payment range is subject to change and can be adjusted in the future.
