Overview and responsibilities:

CBS MIAMI is looking for a bold, innovative and distinguished news product that knows how to create meaningful news bulletins! This product should be paid, creative, a great teammate in the team and has flawless judgment and ethics. We are looking for someone to lead all aspects of the production of a night newsletter and know how to win the big story and display your content and talents.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Create an attractive news bulletin that looks comprehensive while creating moments for news clips simultaneously to show information driving.
• Create a convincing and visually balanced news bulletin.
• Write a conversation and balanced version that provides the appropriate depth and context.
• A quickly reaction to urgent news and weather.
• Participate actively in editorial meetings and stories regularly.
• Stay organized while managing time, individuals and other resources.
• Developing teamwork and cooperation through strong communication skills.
• Editing Pacers for news from the desktop computer.
• Work well under the deadlines.
• Show confidence in the control room.
Ensure accuracy of the grammar of language, dictation and attention to details in all produced content.
• Merging digital elements into news bulletins in an important way.

Basic qualifications
• 5 years of experience in producing news in medium to large market.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience on the INWS system or a compact news system.
Experience work with video editing systems.
• You should be ready to work for changing hours, including overnight, weekends and holidays.

Additional qualifications
• You should show a deep understanding of journalists and morals.
• A busy record as a leader in the newsroom.
• A team player must bring a positive position.
• You should be able to fulfill the final dates and work under pressure.
