It was named in honor of Louise Thuaden, a pioneering pilot from Bentonville, Thadin School It was opened in the fall of 2017 with only 50 students in grades 7 and 9. With its official indexed resource program, the school has grown steadily, and enrollment will be more than 380 students in the K-2 and 5-12 grades for the academic year 2025-26. The 35 -acre campus in the center of Bentonville will support up to 600 students. By the academic year 2026-27, Thuaden will present the kindergarten to the twelfth grade.

With the expansion of Thaden to the K-12 School, we are looking for many special offers to complete our team. The lower school is committed to the integration of arts and nature, where children work and play in our classroom, our natural stadium, which has an acre area, and the rich community of northwest Arkansas.

The Taden School is now seeking an additional member of the Spanish faculty to design innovative curricula and support students in developing communication and efficiency skills in Spanish by employing the latest research and education in the acquisition of the second language. Candidates must have the original or semi -original fluency in Spanish.

The role and responsibilities

• Working with the head of the lower schools and curricula specialized in implementing the Spanish program by developing and implementing effective curricula, managing classrooms, and communication between parents.
• Establishing the semester environment that facilitates the social and emotional development of each student
• Cooperation with classroom teachers, other specialized teachers, as well as Spanish school teachers in middle and upper schools to ensure integration and vertical alignment.
• Determine, planning and implementing field trips, presentations and community partnerships to enrich students learning.
• Attendance and participation in the meetings of faculty members during service, professional development of the college, student communities, and other school jobs, as required.
• Perform duties outside the semester during the specified hours (for example, vacation, reception office, car escorts, and/or lunch duties).
• It effectively interacts with a variety of students, families, faculty and employees.

Skills, qualifications and features

• Spanish teaching experience at the primary level.
• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish or primary education or relevant field.
• Experience partnership with other teachers to create multidisciplinary educational experiences for students.
• The ability to think widely and creative in learning that focuses on the student.
• Commitment to submit detailed notes on the student’s work in a timely manner.
• Excellent oral and written skills.

Physical requirements

• The job often requires standing, walking and dealing with things with hands.
• The job sometimes requires access to up to 50 lbs, climbing, bending, kneeling, paying, withdrawing, and raising up to 50 lbs.
