We aim to appoint a post -PhD research colleague in (Quantum sensing, mobility, location and timing for independent vehicles (R.Mainly contributed to our research at the UK Research and Innovation Center (UKRI) for the position of quantum empowerment, mobility and timing – Qepnt Hub (https://Qepnt.org/), Focusing on the application of such technologies for independent vehicles, as well as other related research activities within our research set, connected and cooperative independent systems.

The successful applicant will become a major member of a firm and highly experienced team of researchers and academics who work cooperatively with our cooperation and international cooperation, including major European companies in the information and communication technology and technical technology sectors. Therefore, the appointed will have a unique opportunity to develop their professional skills and build strong cooperation within the industry and academic circles. QB also hosts some of the most advanced facilities for artificial intelligence and independent research of vehicles, which will provide an unparalleled opportunity for practical experience with real world systems.

The mail holder is expected to conduct advanced research in the use of advanced AI tools and an independent research vehicle for QB research to cooperate with Hub Qepnt partners to assess quantum sensing, navigation and timing of autonomous vehicles. This will require both digital twins development and the development of proof of material concept, as well as field tests.

The appointed results are expected to publish the results of research in the best international magazines and conferences. This will include cooperation with our team of well -known academics, early researchers, research engineers and collaborators at Qepnt Hub academic and industrial. The appointed will be asked to carry out some national and international travel to participate in the relevant project meetings and attend conferences.

About the person:

This post is available for two years. Fixed contracts of contracts are available for the first specified period, but in certain conditions it can be renewed or made permanent to provide financing.
