Water Assembly restoration officer – joined our mission to restore the Severn River

In Severn Rivers Trust, we are excited to restore the water gatherings and have bold ambitions to transform the tide in Severn’s recovery. Our mission is to expand our memorization programs while enhancing our participation with local communities to restore and protect this vital river system.

Your role

As an employee in the restoration of the toilets in the Worsestershire Middle Severn gatherings, you will take a pioneering location in providing projects to create and restore innovative and influential habitats, helping to enhance biological diversity and improve the ecological system flexibility throughout the region.

What will you do?

• Leadership in planning and delivering habitats and restoring projects
• Work directly with private landowners, and providing an informed advice for land management
• Providing environmental improvements on the scale of water gatherings, and is compatible with landscape strategies and broader biological diversity
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, including farmers, societies, organizers and partners
• Buy and manage contractors to provide high -quality restoration work
• Working cooperative within the broader Severn Rivers Trust team to exchange knowledge and ensure best practices
• Track and report on the progress of the project, budgets and results, and contribute to financing and evaluation needs

Who are we looking for

• A person has a passion for restoring the river and restoring the water gatherings, with a real commitment to improving the natural environment
• A practical person with experience in handing over the project, especially in the work or restoration of practical habitats
• The ability to build strong relationships and confidence with landowners and stakeholders, and to communicate clearly and persuade
• A person will flourish in a dynamic -based dynamic role, manages multiple priorities and adapts to changing situations
• Understand
