Are you a seasoned internal review professional with a deep technique in cloud environments, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence governance and data governance? We are looking for experience Director of Internal Audit (Focus on this) to lead auditing and consulting links that provide an insight into the effectiveness of governance, risk and control of the advanced digital environment today.

The internal audit as an expert in the topic will be in information technology guarantee services and consulting, with responsibilities ranging from the audit operations leadership to members of the guidance team and providing high recommendations on the higher leadership. This is a decisive role for a person who is superior to translating complex technical risks into implementable business recommendations.

In this role, you will work primarily from our office in Richmond with some flexibility to work from your home in BC

What will you do?

• Leading and implementing the risk -based information technology technology, focusing on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence governance, data governance, emerging technologies, and system applications
• Daily activities management, including directing and training junior employees and cooperation with external consultants, and ensuring that work is compatible with global internal audit standards
• Providing clear and practical visions of risks and gaps control
• Connecting the complex technical results clearly and briefly in both the mouth and written to all levels of the institution, including those with non -technicians and executives
• Tools for benefiting from tools such as ACL and Power BI for full population test and impressive data perceptions
• Helping to develop the Ministry’s annual audit plan as an expert in the field of information technology by identifying emerging risks and technology trends
• Models constantly level of expected organizational behaviors from all Worksafebc: Responsible, respectable, fair, cooperative, responsibility, and thinking forward.

Is this suitable for you?

We are looking for someone who has:

• A busy record for success in performing comprehensive audits through a wide range of technologies and platforms, including Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, data warehous
• Intensive understanding of information technology parties, such as Cobit, NIST, ISO 27001 and 42001
• The ability to move in complex information technology environments, understanding the technology of the institution, applying critical thinking in information analysis/points of points, and the solution to problems proactively
• A fixed history of facing narrow -time dates with the position “Make them Speak”
• An initiative to develop auditing methodologies using data and automation analyzes
• A strong commitment to continuous learning and current survival with its development and audit practices
• Experience in promoting a culture of learning and sponsoring the mental growth within the team showed

Your background and your experience

• A degree In business, information technology, relevant discipline, or a Set the professional accounting (CPA, CGA, CMA, CA), in addition to a Certified internal auditor (CIA) or Certified information systems auditor (Cisa) Certificate
• A At least 6 years of experience Within internal audit, including:
  • At least 5 years of the audit operations leadership or consulting projects
  • Experience in managing or directing beginners or consultants audit staff
• Practical experience in testing controls via Azure and Oracle Cloud platforms
• Practical use of ACL or other data analysis tools to test the population -based audit and Power BI for dynamic information panels and review
• Experience in taking advantage of control frameworks (for example, Coso, Cobit, NIST, ISO 27001)
• Certified in the risk and control of information systems (CRISC), CISSP, CISP Security Director (CISM) will be one of the assets
• Exposure to the Agency for IQ, automated learning, and automatic operating tools from the perspective of risk and governance
