It was named in honor of Louise Thuaden, a pioneering pilot from Bentonville, Thadin School It was opened in the fall of 2017 with only 50 students in grades 7 and 9. With its official indexed resource program, the school has grown steadily, and enrollment will be more than 380 students in the K-2 and 5-12 grades for the academic year 2025-26. The 35 -acre campus in the center of Bentonville will support up to 600 students. By the academic year 2026-27, Thuaden will present the kindergarten to the twelfth grade.

With the expansion of Thaden to the K-12 School, we are looking for many special offers to complete our team. The lower school is committed to the integration of arts and nature, where children work and play in our classroom, our natural stadium, which has an acre area, and the rich community of northwest Arkansas.

Thaden School is now seeking innovative curricula at PE Teachero School, supporting students in fitness, movement of movement, and understanding the principles of wellness.

The role and responsibilities

  • Working with the head of the minimum schools and curricula specialized in implementing the physical and well -being program through the development and implementation of effective curricula, classroom management, and communication between parents.
  • Establishing an environment that facilitates the social and emotional development of each student.
  • Cooperation with classroom teachers, other specialized teachers, as well as PE teachers in middle and upper schools to ensure vertical complementarity and alignment.
  • Attendance and participation in the meetings of faculty members during service, professional development of the college, student communities, and other school jobs, as required.
  • Select, store, request, issue, and approved approved, materials and supplies.
  • Perform duties outside the semester during the specified hours (for example, vacation, reception office, car escorts, and/or lunch duties).
  • It effectively interacts with a variety of students, families, faculty and employees.
  • At least a single sports sport with post -school responsibilities.

Skills, qualifications and features

  • PE teaching experience at the primary level.
  • Bachelor’s degree in movement science, primary education, or a relevant field.
  • NICA certificate or preparation for a certificate.
  • Experience partnership with other teachers to create multidisciplinary educational experiences for students.
  • The ability to think widely and creative in learning that focuses on the student.
  • Excellent oral and written skills.

Physical requirements

  • The job often requires standing, walking and dealing with things with hands.
  • The job sometimes requires access to up to 50 lbs, climbing, bending, kneeling, paying, withdrawing, and raising up to 50 lbs.
