The purpose of the role:
NBCUNIVERSAL is looking for a contract specialist to join the legal team that supports all aspects of content production and acquisition of NBCU TV services, including peacock and broadcast/cable networks. By working closely with lawyers and administrative employees, contracting specialist will provide support and assistance to the group’s legal advisor regarding a wide range of matters related to the formulation of production services, negotiation and production control, licensing and compensation agreements, insurance, talent contracts, and production policies. Successful candidates will be attentive, detailed and have strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to actively communicate.

Job responsibilities
• Formulating and corresponding to many models agreements and reviewing them independently, for a set of contractual matters and clients
• Searching for a memo, summaries and summaries about the various contractual and legal provisions, rights and intellectual property
• A partner with executives and colleagues in multi -functional teams to work as a supplier of others in the company, on issues related to division
• Defining opportunities to increase efficiency and cooperation in legal affairs and legal affairs teams in the department
• Developing policies, procedures and best practices across the departments

Qualifications

Basic requirements:
• Two years of experience, preferably with experience in the Commercial Affairs Department and/or the Legal Affairs Department in a studio or a major production company
• Extensive experience in contract management, data entry and documents collection
• Efficiency with Microsoft Office applications (for example, Outlook, Excel, Word) and experience in document management applications

Required properties
• Hard academic credentials, including a bachelor’s degree and/or semi -legal certificate
• Understanding the contracting and showing the contracting and intellectual ownership industry, and showed knowledge of the practices related to entertainment and intellectual property
• Database experience and contract management
• The ability to exercise discretionary power with sensitive information
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to managing multiple matters, endless final dates, and new experiences with changing work needs

This position was appointed as a hybrid, and it generally contributes from the New York Office, New York, at least three days a week.

salary:
62,000 dollars – 75,000 dollars
