Are you excited to protect lives, buildings and societies? We are looking for an experienced firefighting safety officer to join our health, safety and environment team at Brunell University in London.

In this pivotal role, it will act as one of the competent persons at the university under the order of organizational reform (fire safety) for the year 2005, which leads to the development, implementation and monitoring of our fire safety strategy through a large, complex and varied property. From the dwellings of students and laboratories to teaching places and public places, you will play an important role in ensuring that BRUNEL is still a safe, compatible and flexible organization.

you will:

• Providing professional advice for fire, training and support for employees and students throughout the university.
• Evaluate fire risk assessments, reviews, inspections and supervise evacuation procedures.
• Work closely with real estate in new construction projects and renewal work, ensuring compliance with the 2021 fire safety law, construction safety law 2022, and recognized British standards.
• Communication with the enforcement of the authorities and external agencies, which represent the university in all fire safety matters.

We are looking for an individual who has a recognized fireworthy qualifications, and has experience in fire safety management in multi -site complex organizations, which are committed to promoting a strong extinguishing culture.
