Information and Communications Technology Support Officer – Scottish wildlife confidence
Status: full -time 35 hours per week, permanent

For 60 years, Scottish Wildlife Trust has worked with its members, partners and supporters in the pursuit of its vision of health and ecosystems across land and seas in Scotland. Confidence has succeeded in the heroism of the cause of wildlife through politics and campaigns, and explains best practices by preserving practical and innovative partnerships, and inspiring people to take positive measures through education and participation activities. It also runs a network of about 120 wildlife reserves throughout Scotland and is a member of the UK wildlife funds movement.
Role:
Are you enthusiastic about technology and helping others to solve challenges? We are seeking a pre -emptive support official and focusing on information and communications technology that focuses on the customer to join confidence. In this role, it will be the first point of communication for technical support, ensuring the smooth operation of our information technology systems and providing an exceptional service for employees and stakeholders.
Candidate:
A successful candidate will have at least HNC/HND (or equivalent) in a topic related to information and communications technology and no less than two years experience in customer support or employee support, it would be useful if this is within information and communication technology support or an auxiliary environment.
Main goals
- Providing daily support to employees and volunteers using the SharePoint, Microsoft and Office 365 teams, including exploring and repairing errors, and escalating the most complex problems to our information and communications technology contractor as required.
- Support for management and basic formation of trustworthy digital systems, ensuring that user and permissions/accessories/access to update and compatible with the best practices of cybersecurity and broader digital infrastructure.
- Helping to monitor and maintain information, communications technology equipment, networks and server infrastructure, reporting errors and communication with our information and communications technology contractor for the solution.
- Supporting our information and communications technology contractor with the external aid office to ensure the registration and follow -up of information technology problems and solve them immediately, and keep a good connection with users all the time. Including assistance in the employee process on board
The successful candidate will perfectly have:
Office 365 experience and Microsoft and SharePoint teams.
- Experiment to maintaining desktop computers, laptops, networks and servers.
- Knowing the security of the network, including electronic basics.
- The ability to manage the private schedule is proactive and balanced and varied priorities.
- It is effective.
