The CEO of John Sisk & Son will lead the Industry Authority because it represents the tenth anniversary of its founding

Build UK, the leading representative body in the UK, has appointed Paul Brown as its new president.

Mr. Brown, CEO of John Sisk & Son, is the Jolly White, the Managing Director of D-Drill & Sawing, who has led the organization over the past two years.

The appointment was confirmed at the annual general meeting of the UK list, where members also heard from the main secretary of the Treasury, James Murray, the deputy, who set the government’s plans to provide 725 billion pounds from the economic and social infrastructure over the next decade.

Mr. Brown, a civil engineer who has more than 25 years of leadership experience, has served as Vice President of Build UK since joining the Board of Directors in 2022.

He said after his appointment, he said: “The assumption of the role of the UK construction chair at this pivotal time for our industry is a great privilege. The construction takes an increasingly increasingly approach to infrastructure planning, improving the method of providing projects, and paying the highest construction safety standards.”

He added that Build UK has a “vital role to play” in supporting these priorities and said that he is looking forward to working with members in the supply chain to show the positive impact on building on the economy and societies.

Susanna Nicole Obi, CEO of Build Uk Suzannah Nichol, welcomed the appointment, saying Mr. Brown “Leadership and experience will be invaluable with the movement of upcoming opportunities and challenges.”

Mrs. White thanked her for her “distinguished contribution” over the past two years and her support for the representation of industry since her election for the first time in the board of directors a decade ago.

The organization also appointed two new members of the Board of Directors: Katie Dawing, President and CEO of Skanska, and Lee RowsWell from GKR SCAFOLDING.

Build UK combines customers, contractors, commercial associations and other organizations committed to industrial cooperation to enhance the value of construction and change leadership across the sector.
