Leader of the Welfare Awareness Team for Students at the University of Southampton

About the role

Southampton University is passionate about the luxury of our students. We have an exciting opportunity to join us as the leader of the luxury awareness team in the service of students’ welfare.

Our service provides a set of specialized support for students during their studies, which helps them to make the most of their time at the university and prosper in their lives and future professions.

As the leader of the luxury awareness team for students, it will:

  • He performs confidence – management and support for a team of welfare consultants, defining clear goals, performing monitoring, and enhancing professional development.
  • Make sure to support pursuing students – overseeing the delivery of early awareness and intervention activities that enhance positive luxury across the student community.
  • Cooperation throughout the university-working closely with academic and professional services teams to ensure an approach to joining students’ welfare.
  • Building external partnerships – maintaining strong relationships with health professionals, public protection providers and other organizations to ensure students get the appropriate time in time.

This role depends on the HIGHFILD campus with standard working hours (from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm). Evening weekends for events at the university level may be needed, such as open days.

About you

We are looking for a strong leader with excellent communication skills and experience installed in managing results related to students ’luxury or a similar context. You will bring:

  • The experience of leading and developing a team in preparing well -being, health or support.
  • Strong skills in managing complex or difficult situations.
  • The ability to work cooperatively in multiple agencies and apply proper judgment in high pressure situations.
  • Commitment to inclusiveness, continuous improvement, and providing an exceptional student experience.

Experience in higher education is desirable, but it is not necessary.
